In 1980 4 co-workers (Michael Bendjouya, Sal Casali, Harold LeDuc, and Patrick Goodwin) fed up with the way their current employer was treating their clients and employees, sat in the basement of one of their grandfather’s house brainstorming and it was there Controlled Combustion was born. Their mission was to provide outstanding customer service to all their clients with the motto “We always go the extra mile to meet our customer needs”. With that belief in mind, they hit the ground running and began the business. By the time the end of 1980 rolled around their client base outgrew the basement and Controlled Combustion relocated to 2377 Washington Avenue, Bronx NY, near Fordham University and the Zoo.
