Yes — a free homeowner account. It takes under a minute and lets us verify that reviews come from real people. Your email is never shown publicly.
Every review passes automated checks and human moderation before it publishes. We flag duplicate submissions, conflicts of interest, and reviews without a verifiable job. Pros can reply publicly but can never pay to remove a review.
Use Request to Join. Submit your company, trades, and license details; our team verifies your license standing against state records — typically within 2 business days — before the listing goes live.
Basic listings are free forever. Paid plans are Apprentice at $29.99/mo, Pro at $59.99/mo, and Master at $99.99/mo. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
Yes. Pause or cancel anytime from your dashboard under Subscription. Your profile stays live on the free tier; paid features simply switch off at the end of the billing period.
Pro and Master plans include a blog on your profile. Posts are great for project showcases and seasonal advice, and they feed the Houzzer SEO assistant so your profile ranks for the work you actually do.
Yes — Pro and Master plans sync external review sources nightly. Synced reviews display with their source labeled and do not count toward your Craft Score, which is built from verified Houzzer reviews only.
A Master-plan tool that audits your profile monthly, suggests keywords by trade and city, and reports where your profile ranks in Houzzer search and Google.
Click Log in, then “Forgot password”. A reset link is emailed to you and stays valid for 30 minutes. Still locked out? Email support@houzzer.com.
Every review has a Report link. Reports go to human moderators, who respond within 2 business days. Reviews found to violate our guidelines are removed and repeat offenders are banned.
Yes. Payments are processed by a PCI-DSS Level 1 provider; Houzzer never stores your full card number. You can remove a saved card anytime from your dashboard.
